London's raw sewage deal

With 240 million cubic metres of raw sewage dumped into London's river in the last four years (Sewage dumped in Thames every month, December 20), I invite readers to sign a petition I am taking to the European parliament.
EU water quality directives are being breached. The primary responsibility for ensuring British compliance with EU law - through its regulation of Thames Water - lies with the UK government. Enforcement is up to the European Commission.
