Pride London success despite the rain

Lib Dems celebrating Pride London
On Saturday Sarah Ludford joined other Lib Dems from across the country to celebrate Pride London. Pride London is an annual event which has championed liberty and sexual equality for the past 35 years.
After speaking to the gathered crowds on the main stage, Sarah said:
"This year has been a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the progress we have made fighting sexual discrimination. The event had a really great turnout despite the obvious security threats and the torrential rain. The fact that people from around the UK had gathered to celebrate their sexual and civil liberties really demonstrates the value of living in a democratic society."
