Sarah was delighted at the display on Morris dancing at the Angel Canal Festival in Islington on September 2nd: "It's not just rural areas that like to see old English traditions, we metropolitan types enjoy them too! And as a Euro-MP I am constantly battling the idea that the EU is destroying our national or regional identity. This is rubbish, any sense of being European supplements and does not replace a sense of being a Londoner, English or British (or French, Polish or whatever). My vision of Europe is one in which every bit of our diverse heritage and culture is celebrated."
